6) They also learned to do Muhapatti Padilehana. Meaning of Sthapanaji as proxy for Guru Maharaj. In addition, they learned about Kayotsarg (what it is, how to do it, what not to do etc…)

9) Atma (Soul)
1) Story: This year we started the epic story of Samaraditya Kevali Charitra. This story starts with two characters Gunsen and Agnisharma and shows how small incidents turn into anger and feeling of revenge and how it spans birth after birth. It also shows how kashay and karma affect us and shows that in the same situation, one person develops more and more feelings of forgiveness and compassion, while other develops feelings of anger and hatred. One’s soul progresses and the other’s degrade. It also shows how the two souls take different roles in their different lives, from two friends to Father and son, Mother and Son, Husband and wife etc…
 
2) Games: This year we have started to play Jain Jeopardy. This has been a huge success. It has helped motivate the students to learn the principles and has made coming to pathshala fun.
 
3) Skits: This year we have also enacted several skits in the class to reinforce our Jain Living Values, such as Greed / Contentment, Compassion, and Anger/Forgiveness.
